Corporate culture

Management, supervisory work, competence development and a common way of working are at the core of Olvi’s corporate culture. We focus on maintaining a positive, innovative and agile corporate culture. Positivity is our way of working and responding to challenges. Innovation keeps us abreast of the times and even ahead of the times. Agility is related to local presence and self-direction. Effective teamwork and independent decision-making play a key role.

We have many practices in place to support our work culture. We celebrate successes and achievements together. Each Olvi employee in a permanent employment relationship is included in the scope of performance-based pay. A personnel fund was established at Olvi in 2003.

We also encourage our employees to participate in operational development at Olvi. A suggestion scheme allows each Olvi employee to participate in the continuous improvement of Olvi’s functions. In addition, our employees have a possibility to report observations regarding quality, environment, loss and safety.

We strive to develop our corporate culture with the aim of achieving the AAA overall rating in the PeoplePower employee survey in 2030. In the 2022 PeoplePower survey, Olvi’s rating was AA. The results of personnel survey were good compared with the average in Finland. We earned the ‘Finland’s Most Inspiring Workplace’ diploma for its survey results.
