Olvi recognized again among the World’s Best Companies in Sustainable Growth – the only Finnish Food & Beverage Company
The renowned TIME publication has, for the second time, listed 500 of the world’s most sustainable growth companies, and Olvi is once again part of this prestigious group. Of the four Finnish companies on the list, Olvi was the only one from Food & Beverage industry. This recognition highlights the importance of Olvi’s long-term sustainability efforts and its strong, stable financial position.

In the evaluation conducted by TIME and Statista, thousands of companies were assessed based on revenue growth, financial stability, and environmental impact, including emissions, energy efficiency, and water usage.
To qualify for the list of the top 500 companies, a company had to demonstrate strong financial stability, consistent revenue growth in recent years, and exceptional environmental performance with transparent reporting of its environmental impacts.
“We are very pleased that our way of operating has once again received esteemed international recognition. We have clear and ambitious goals, along with concrete actions to achieve them. We aim to grow profitably and sustainably, and this recognition shows that we are on the right path,” says Olvi Group CEO Patrik Lundell.
Significant recognitions
Olvi’s sustainability work has also received other notable acknowledgments.
In autumn 2025, the Walk the Talk sustainability study conducted by Hanken School of Economics examined how well Finnish listed companies’ sustainability communications are implemented in practice. Olvi received an excellent score of 34/40 in the study and ranked among the top 6% of companies where words and actions on sustainability align. The strong result was driven by factors such as the visibility of sustainability work in goal tracking and measurement, the promotion of gender equality, and the implementation of external sustainability assurance.
Additionally, Olvi achieved Gold status in the EcoVadis sustainability assessment in 2024. EcoVadis is the world’s leading sustainability rating platform, providing an independent evaluation of companies’ sustainability strategies and actions across four key categories: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and procurement. Only about 5% of assessed companies achieve Gold status.
“We promote sustainability in three areas – the environment, people, and products – and it is an inseparable part of our daily operations. In addition to developing our own activities, we work toward a more sustainable value chain together with our partners. The recognitions we have received further encourage us to continue our determined efforts and ongoing development,” says Olvi Group’s Group Chief Sustainability and Sourcing Officer Pia Hortling.
